The Qingming festival(清明節), also known as Tomb-Sweeping Day. The festival is celebrated by ethnic Chinese throughout the world, including mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and Panama.
During Qingming, Chinese families offer ritual offerings to their ancestors and clean their ancestors' gravesites. Traditionally, this holiday represents the reverence one has for one's ancestors.
